Showing Off Our Skills
Why not build a float for the parade? In true Dow fashion, we spent several weeks building a custom float for the July parade this last summer. Two of our newer employees, Claire Bartels and MC Mayfield, took the creative lead on a large portion of this project. They designed, cut, built, and painted a mini version of our skid steer and dump truck all from scratch. Our whole team pitched in decorating with tinsel, balloons, and other sparkly decor to compete for best float. While we didn’t end up placing, we did receive an honorary mention which is proudly hanging in our owner’s office. Overall this was a fun team building exercise for us, and we love being a part of community events in Cheney.
