Spreading the Christmas Spirit
Our favorite time of year is when we get to pull out all the stops on our Christmas decorations! Each year we get a small order of Christmas Trees to sell to the community, along with spending several days decorating our yard in a full Christmas display.
Why do we do this? Well, because it’s fun! Our owner, Wayne Dow, says that this is his favorite time of year. He has always loved the winter season and the snow that comes with it, which is a part of the reason he started the commercial snow removal portion of the business around 30 years ago.
“This is my way of giving back to the community” Wayne says.
We started this little tradition the first winter after Covid-19 arrived. It began as a way to bring light to the community through uncertain times, and spread a little bit of family-friendly joy that was free to drive by and look at.
Each year we continue to add to our display, and this year we had the privilege of lighting up the iconic Cheney Library Tree. We spent a few weeks wrapping around 1,000 ft of bulbs with the help of Alpha Electric. Getting together with community partners such as Justin Miller and Sunbelt Rentals is a part of what makes the whole holiday season so special for us. Everyone wants to give back to their community, and we are just happy to be a part of that.
