Western Sunset rock brings warm, layered color to any landscape bed, driveway border, or ground cover area. This rock forms in a volcanic scoria vein, which gives each piece its natural blend of red, orange, and rust tones running through a darker base. Because the color comes from the stone itself rather than a coating, it holds its look year after year without fading in direct sun.

Like our other decorative rock, Western Sunset ranges from 1 to 1.5 inches. The porous texture typical of scoria also helps with drainage, so water moves through instead of pooling on the surface.

Western Sunset works well for:

• Landscaping beds and border edging
• Ground cover under trees and shrubs
• Accenting alongside pavers or retaining walls
• Xeriscaping and other low-water landscape designs
• Contrast planting beds paired with cooler-toned rock

This product is sold by the ton, and one cubic yard is approximately .96 tons. The volcanic composition makes it significantly lighter than many of our other decorative rocks. If you want help estimating tonnage for your project, call us at 509-235-4511 and we will help you get the number right.

We keep Western Sunset in stock and ready to load at our yard. Pickup is available in Cheney, WA, and we deliver in bulk across the greater Spokane area.
