3/8 Inch Crushed Gravel is the smallest crushed basalt product we carry, sitting just above sand in size. Because of its small size, this rock has a strong compaction rate. It packs down firmly to create a level base for concrete pads, sheds, or other small flat areas.

This is a small, crushed product, and it will contain a significant amount of fines. These fines are intentional, since they allow for compaction.

3/8 Inch Crushed Gravel also works well for pathways or as a paver base, and will settle into a smooth, walkable surface.
