Dow’s Garden Blend is another local favorite! This ready made garden soil is our own special blend to help your plants grow to their fullest potential, and is what our owner uses in his personal garden each year. So, what’s in it? We start with a base of sandy loam, which offers a sturdy root base for growing plants and some alkaline nutritional value from naturally occurring clay. We mix in a touch of screen sand to ensure the soil base has proper aeration and won’t suffocate newly forming roots. Finally, we blend in the popular Cheney Compost for added nutrition and aeration.
